In this role, you'll ensure that all projects adhere to agreed best practice and that standard approaches are in place for tracking costs, quality and delivery timescales across the portfolio. Working alongside a team of Project Managers, you'll be able to provide insight at a portfolio level to enable project prioritisation, resource allocation and planning. What you bring:
  • Act as the point of contact for queries relating to our forecasts and budgets working with finance, central teams and other business areas
  • Produce key reporting outputs to the relevant change forums and internal management reporting
  • Partner with project managers and change leads to challenge accuracy of forecasts and advise on best practice
  • Review resource alignment and allocations to enable demand and capacity reporting
  • Support the PM community with the purchase requisition and invoicing process, as well as acting as a point of contact for our key vendor
  • Provide and maintain a resource capacity planning and tracking service across the Portfolio to assist Senior management with capacity management decisions. Highlighting future capacity / bottlenecks.
  • Ensure efficient change control methods and process are designed and embedded
  • Understand the company project roadmap and pipeline requirements to report on and validate the project & programme roadmap (progress, resource, budget, risks & issues) providing a central view to the Digital team
  • Establishing and operating the PMO for a significant program of works.
  • Refining some of the existing enterprise-level PMO practices in line with changing requirements
  • Establishing best practices and frameworks in line with changing requirements
  • Leading a team of PMO Managers and Consultants.
